March 6 might be a Wednesday, but it's still a perfect time to play Monday morning quarterback after the March 5 primary elections.Â
Our panel of experts will analyze the results of the presidential and U.S. Senate races, as well as the battles for the Texas Legislature and what races are going to runoffs. We'll talk about the trends we see and what the results mean for Republicans, Democrats and Texans as a whole.
Join us at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Tribune's Studio 919 and online for a conversation about the results of the primary and what it means for Texans and the general election.
Our moderator will be Tribune managing editor for news and politics Matthew Watkins. Confirmed speakers include the Tribune's Washington correspondent, Matthew Choi; Tribune politics reporter Zach Despart; Renzo Downey, lead writer of The Blast, the Tribune's premium politics newsletter; and Alexandra Samuels, senior editor at Texas Monthly.Â
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. at the Tribune’s Studio 919, located at 919 Congress Ave., Sixth Floor, in Austin.Â
The hourlong conversation will begin at 9 a.m. Parking will not be provided; street and garage parking as well as ride-sharing are recommended.
Â
Complimentary coffee will be available.
This in-person event will be live streamed for virtual attendees and will be available to watch on demand afterward at texastribune.org/events.
